Motorwerks BMW

The Ultimate Drive pulled into Motorwerks BMW on September 11. Thank you to everyone who made the Ultimate Drive at Motorwerks BMW such a success!

At the end of the day we raised over $4,900 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It was a wonderful day and the weather was perfect for a drive in the Ultimate Driving Machine! Over 120 people came in for a test drive. For every mile driven, $1 was donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Pink Ribbon product sales and individual donations contributed to the total amount raised.

During the Ultimate Drive event, Mary Henjum was presented with the 2007 Local Hero Award.  Mary has volunteered for various breast cancer causes for over 10 years, including “Golf for the Cure.”  She recently retired after 33 years as a junior high physical education teacher in the Osseo School district.

Thank you to the participants of this year’s event as well as to our event  who helped make this a day so special: Tejas Restaurant, Maui Wowi gourmet smoothies, STEELE Fitness, Mindful Golf, Massage for your Health, Hope Chest Breast Center of North Memorial and the Minnesota Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
